There is no initial set price since it isn't meant as a capital raise. Also avoids underwriters which is good since it means no lock up periods. I don't know a lot about either industries apart from the fact that VR is currently getting very deep into military contracts for training.
VR and synthetic training simulators are insanely cheaper than the real thing and offer similar returns in terms of experience. For countries like UK with limited defence budgets it's big business and there's also IPR constraints and single-source environments everywhere.
Not sure how AR would produce the same results in that space, that would have more of a specific exercise/battlefield use.
