Buying a house in the current year

Is now a good time to buy a house? Should I wait for the "housing bubble" to burst again? I'm tired of renting in a shithole city and want to move someone more rural with land. Not too far from the city though, because once this wuflu shutdown ends I probably won't be able to continue working from home. Anyway, the housing market is definitely a sellers market right now and prices are much higher than even just 2 years ago. Should I wait? Or should I just bite the bullet and go for it before the prices climb even higher?

And yes, I always make important life decisions based on what a bunch of anonymous basement dwellers on the internt tell me.
