I understand growth investing and how it differs from value investing. But what the fuck is this? How can a company be this inflated? It's like trading shares of a banana stand for $1000 each that only makes 1 cent per day.

I know electric vehicles and carbon credits are a lot more important than bananas. I think Tesla is a great company. I just honestly don't understand how a P/E ratio can be this high. Can anyone take a stab at explaining this?
