If you pool you earn liquidity fees. There are a couple of options
Pooling in the STA-WSTA pool is the same as holding STA, but you're earning fees while doing it. Kind of like how staking works
The other option is to join the Stanos pool, which is equal parts BTC, ETH, LINK, SNX, and STA. The good part here is you'd be making money off the other coins while STA is stagnant. But when STA finally pumps you won't make as much while pooled here

One of the Balancer pools (Sthanos probably) would need enough buying power to be purchasing massive amounts of wSTA. It just doesn't have that much power yet.
It is getting stronger fast now though. 183k within a couple days of opening, 283k 2 more days after that, and is now up to 335k. Just opened Dec 29th.
I think the makeup of these pools is going to start attracting more people to pool. The assets inside are pumping. And for people holding pure Statera for the moonshot the 50% makeup still lets you hold a lot of the token. In the past if you wanted to put most of your stack in the pool you were now only holding 20% Statera and I think some felt they were missing out. Well now you can still put your whole stack in and hold 50% and obviously you can do things like put in half of your stack and you'd still be holding 75% Statera.
