Based, the tether headquarters is one room in hong kong and they have 30 billion a year to print, this will go well under the RICO charge. Sell your house for your first whole bitcoin

Wow, what natural market behaviour! I'm not concerned at all that the price of BTC of denominated entirely in USDT. Look at how rich in USDT I am!

>btc is supposed to be anti-fractional reserve
>btc has become fractional as it is priced in USDT, and USDT continues to be pumped into BTC
>you're okay with this
Even if you honestly believe Tether has a FRACTION of the $25,000,000,000 they claim to have stashed in a bank in an "undisclosed location" (hint: they don't), then you've defeated any usecase for bitcoin. You're admitting the only reason to buy BTC is to dump on someone else at a higher price. There's no reason to hold btc otherwise.

Nice strawman, redditor who sucks nigger cock.
https://cryptoslate.com/bitcoin-banks-hal-finneys-prediction-ultimate-fate-btc/

Bitcoin is positioned against fiat fractional reserves, not fractional reserves of real assets, including bitcoin. Yes we are using tether to bring down fiat faster and there is nothing you can do about it.

But you can say that about anything, because everything is priced in dollars, and the fed printes the dollar even faster than thether.

The M1 funds rate increased by 25% in 2020. This is huge, I agree. Tether, however, went from $4b to $24b, an increase of 600%. It isn't comparable in the slightest. Tether is actually creating "money" out of thin air, buying BTC with it and driving the price up, then selling that BTC to people FOMOing in with real dollars.

here's the hilarious part
half of tether fudders are indeed seething nocoiners
the other half has been here way before you and holds a 6 or 7 figures crypto portfolio, not because they've gambled on shitcoins but because they correctly identify asymmetric opportunities and risk factors
volatility is how smart /biz/ anons make their money anyway. gradually sell as it rises, gradually buy as it falls. it's not rocket science. there's literally no reason to begrudge tether fud, unless you're a newfag with a $30k poorfolio hoping against all reason it will go x10

The thing that makes me mad is how fucking easy it is to be a billionaire currently. I could've created my own unbacked "stablecoin" and "minted" trillions of it to buy BTC and then exchange it for actual USD later on.

This should worry you idiots. When normies realize "USDT not real USD, wot?" they'll start to panic and unload everything.
