Yeah, $60/lb uranium is where new low cost of production mines are profitable to build. Currently the mines are closed and the miners are waiting for increasingly nervous power companies to go through their stockpiles so they will come to the negotiating table. About 60% of global supply has come offline and it takes months to get it back up but it will only go up to like 2019 levels or less (due to mine depletion).

Because of the complexities involved in increasing supply, it will take like 5 years to actually build enough mines to meet current and future demand, so expect bare minimum $60, good chance of an overshoot due to a supply crunch and there are like 2 tier 1 projects waiting for a higher price to be scooped up by one of the 3 big players (Cameco (biggest publicly traded) Kazataprom, and China General Nuclear) and developed immediately. First one is Denison which would be the first new mine to come online and has the highest grades (in Phoenix and has a high grade stake in the Canada's Athabasca Basin). Nexgen, Fission and Iso also have high grade stakes in other parts of the Canadian Athabasca Basin. This Basin is basically one of the only places in the world so far discovered that have high grade Uranium deposits. Others are one-off places like in Arizona, Niger, Namibia, Kazakhstan, etc.

Only Cameco and UUUU are publicly traded and are active supply chain participants as far as I know. The other ones are sitting on a pile of radioactive money in the ground

Single-core is tied to arbitrary clock-speeds and IPC gains that AMD just started working on with Zen 2/3, node size has nothing to do with it. AMD is now caught up, and Intel is leaking dubious benchmarks that would put it maybe 10% over AMD again in single-core.
Node size has everything to do with transistor density and power/thermal efficiency, which is why intel can't make CPUs with more than 28 cores for mortal prices or reasonable clocks/thermals, while AMD is shitting out 64-cores that run at 4ghz.

If they stay equal in everything else and Intel catches up with their fabs, they'll have equivalent CPUs and Intel will lose their precious 90% market-share that's holding up their dying stock. If they go to 50/50 market-share, AMD has way more to gain. Plus AMD has GPUs, Intel continues to fuck theirs up, AMD now has an FPGA company under their umbrella, and Intel just sold off their memory/SSD business.

Uranium is responsible for base load power in a lot of countries including the US, China, France, Japan, Canada, etc. So either the lights go out or the price goes up.

Currently planned demand is still increasing over the next decade while supply is decreasing. China is building a huge fleet of nuclear reactors to come online in the next few decades. Greens may find the only choice they have for carbon-free is a combination of nuclear + hydro, especially in northern latitudes where the sun is more intermittent. US nuclear has bipartisan support now. There's definitely some bullish long-term trends for it. But the reality is that the price has to go up.
