Had 352 eth on 1 November. Got liquidated during the Compound DAI spike, lost confidence. Lost more from trading when emotional. Had 188 eth and sold to stablecoins at 586 so I didn't lose anymore. Missed the whole thing.

not anything crazy. finally got into crypto around Dec 21st. Bobos assured me it would dip to 20k from 22k or whatever it was at. Wanted to throw in 10k. It went to 23.5k and I was like alright well back to 22k and I'll do it, that was my initial price. And then it just. Kept. Going. Every day I would convince myself it would dip. In the end instead of .5 btc I now own .05 btc and am priced out forever unless there's a crash.

Word of advice for you and the rest of the swing traders. Don't try to swing trade shitcoins/BTC/ETH or you will get burned badly.

Buy and hold a project that you believe in and have read up on. Understand its place or use relative to the other shitcoins in the market. That's literally it. Just fucking hold something worth holding and have a price in mind to exit on.

Look at ETH, chainlink, xrp (not recently obv), tether, stellar. Long term holds were the key.

In the future look at PRQ, GRT, and axion.

spent the summer spending a good portion of my unemployment on btc and eth and my dad gave me some of his retirement to buy btc for him. we cashed out my .18 and his .5 at 21K. i still have my eth which is fine and he bought back in for 6k at 28.8 but felt stoopid since then. I've made a little on the ups and down of yfi and done a little defi, finally got some dot at 9 and ada at .24 for long term holds but selling at 21k will haunt me. eagerly awaiting the dip. my dad's zen about it, he knows this is a 5-10yr investment.
