correct. There are several models for BTC macroscopic trends. They differ here and there on things like exactly how long until each peak, or how much the peak-to-peak increase will be from one cycle to the next, etc. But everyone that knows anything agrees that there are these macro cycles and they keep going up.

We just broke previous ATH a month ago. Historically whenever we blow past a previous cycle's ATH, we rarely ever dip back below it. It's always followed by a year-long bull market. Right now is like buying BTC at 1-3k in early 2017. Seems high at the time, but then you zoom out and realize where it's going.

it's actually pretty easy, the peak hits shortly after normies flood the market. They get to know about it through mass media, and bitcoin is relevant for mass media when it goes up a lot in a short amount of time. We are already in that time, I know of normie friends trying to get in.

Normies are the last ones to buy and will be the bagholders. Some will get desperate and sell and the panic selling starts. Institutions and big investors are just waiting for that to happen to short the market and buy in at a low again.
