Every time we get a new BTC 4-year macro-cycle, people claim this is different and that there won't be a massive bubble.
Likewise, every time the market plummets, everyone says "this time it's definitely going to zero!!!". Just look at what /biz/ was like in march/april after the crash. I am bearish on ETH only if EIP 1559 isn’t implemented this year and we get blueballed yet again.
Most people don’t even fucking realise how bullish and massive 1559 is for ETH. I would’ve honestly preferred PoW + 1559. A switch to PoS just means ETH will have a reset on people’s trust on it being secure. Plus I am not sure how a PoS system can secure a network as big as ETH with such a low stake.
Only time will tell. But it’s pretty exiting watching all this unfold.

I can't answer that for you. It all depends on your personal situation and your risk tolerance. I have a decent stack at this point. I'm fairly confident in the stock-to-flow model continuing to be validated. I think the top will occur in late 2021 or early 2022. There will of course be corrections of up to even 30-40% at times along the way there, but I can't predict when those will happen and don't feel confident swinging on the way up.

The reason it crashed is because of big money. Everything drops in values during a market-wide dump because the big boys need to increase their liquidity to cover leverages/debts. And then you also have retail people who are scared that they'll be out of a job, and need to liquidate their assets as well to make sure they have money for food and rent. But it also means that if you're NOT overleveraged and you can afford to still invest money, it's the BEST time to do so. I was lucky enough to have good cashflow coming in at the time so I went all-in and kept a couple thousand in each week throughout april and into may.
