If you put $1000 into bitcoin you stand to make 10x what someone who puts $100 into it stands to make, meaning that a large portion returns on bitcoin will go to, and are already going to, people who are already wealthy. Contrast that with e.g. the emancipation proclamation which transferred wealth (at the time, nearly 70% of the US' equity) to the least wealthy people in the country.
