Two different things.

Every time you hear about proof of stake, smart contracts, and DeFi, it runs on ethereum. Really cool stuff, but it's an ever-growing stack of experimental technologies, so there's higher risk of failure and a greater attack surface.

I'm 70/30 eth/btc, personally.

Hold both, I'd hold more BTC than ETH though. Maybe 60/40

I even bought xrp over the summer and sold at .70 to move to BTC and ETH because I knew that POS wouldn't go any higher than that, but I did it because of a gut feeling and saw retards hyping it, and ignored everyone saying not to buy it, and made a very nice profit on it.
