I've been into cryptos for a relatively short time (1 month and some), so my opinion doesn't count shit, but I chose to invest because I like pandas, I like the community here, and I liked the story about the Wolong guy.

>Was it ever meant to have a future?
Wasn't PND's future to pick up at the point when PAND had left?
Development is kinda slow, yeah, but steady. The rebranding is coming soon.
I'm holding, and mining, and devving a unique service that will be PND exclusive.
Will all of this be enough? Idk, but I'm betting on it.

My 6970 @500Mhz (1000Mhz memory) runs quieter than the PSU fan.

Haha I've been doing this for months, not to mention one of my gpu has a factory error that makes the fan spin at 100% at all times.
Yes I've already tried manual fan control and no it doesn't work, the gpu thinks it's spinning at 40 to 60% but in fact it's spinning at full speed.

>> No.255800

>>255790
I'm new to this, but afaik you can undervolt the whole thing by flashing a custom bios.

If you tune down the performance, tho, it will tune down both the heat and the voltages. Each model has different thresholds for this, I don't know yours. I found this out in BAMT -> catalyst driver; it states, what the thresholds are.

Try this: open cgminer and press [G]pu management, [C]hange settings, [E]ngine -> to minimum; then [M]emeory -> to minimum.
Check if voltages have changed.
If your catalyst doesn't state threshold, do a binary search for the threshold value (at low intensity, so you don't have lag in the interface) for both Engine and Memory. Use that at night.

Nethash hasn't dropped for comedy gold since I went to bed. You are all top lels.

I've been thinking, best way to promote comedy gold is trolling. I need to ruse some jimmies somehow, maybe on twitter and reddit. I'd troll BCT but everyone there already knows about LEL anyway. But the promotion of this coin has to be through trolling.

Any ideas? Before I just go make a twitter account and start griefing every coin JacobuX has ever made?

You've done more than enough anyway, I am eternally in your debt.

I think I'm going to give it a rest for today. I got the reddit bot working, and I've held off getting stoned all day to work on this. 2 hours of seeing the same error message pop up no matter what I do is trying for a man with any patience, even more so for me.

But tomorrow, I will conquer it!

Soon.

I'm trying to debug the tipbot on leddit and I get this
>you are doing that too much. try again in 8 minutes.
Fuck you reddit. All I want to do is check the output of my bot so I can see what it says ;_;

But there's going to be something good. I'm thinking that the way to publicise this is through trolling.

I'm out for today, but believe me, things are gonna happen.

Yo amdoge, I just found a way round this.

I logged in as the bot and posted a this gif on /r/funny. I now have 4 link karma (PNDtip only has one) and no longer have to type in captchas for the bot.

Should I switch from mining PND to the multipool?
I feel like it might be more profitable but I'm worried I'm holding up the network highhandedly and the it might implode if I stop mining it.

We need miners on the network as well. A few hours ago we had a multipool switching back and forth completely destroying the difficulty.
You're also giving more to the dumpers that way which makes the multipool inefficient.
We also need more miners in general.
