I have 0 link. Back from long /biz/ hiatus.
I was here during crowdsale, but never bought. Was thinking about when to do so when it was still sub $1 but then I got sick of thinking about crypto, left /biz/ and just HODLed what I had. Thinking about buying at current prices when I had the chance to get in at the ground floor kills me. I am a NEET with little fiat and would have to adjust my 28k USD portfolio which is mostly ETH to buy in. I don't know if now is the time to buy or not or if I should look for lower cap stuff.
Any advice, /biz/?
Thanks.

Block /biz/ webpage, live a normal neet life and Come back to shame bagholders when you made it with your eth stack.

I am determined to leave the NEET lifestyle this year, actually, so I have to do something. I imagine some kind of trading would be smart I'm really out of touch with the crypto game currently and have a lot of reading up to do. I wanna make money but wagecucking is an absolute last resort for me.

I'm thinking of eventually starting some kind of business so starting to build capital would really help, but again, I'm allergic to wagecucking. I wanna be my own boss or someone else's boss in my own business. Unless on the off chance I make it just by investing and don't need to worry about having a company, but idk about that.

Ya do all that, just avoid biz
I came back exactly a year ago and have been checking every goddamn day multiple times, there Is nothing to gain that can’t be gained somewhere else more easily

Bump. I really wanna know if there are good places/communities for this. I have tried looking before but never found any. Reddit makes me sick so I was hoping I don't have to succumb to that. I've never made an account there, and really prefer the anon style of posting, lack of upvote cancer and the less severe hivemind/circlejerk effect.

You can never leave fren. You'll stay here and you'll adapt and see through the noise or you'll perish

Oh no, I'll never leave 4chan, I know this. /g/ is my home board. I just don't know about the best place for business and crypto topics, and anon suggested looking elsewhere which raises the question as to where. Back before my /biz/ hiatus I've seen anons say the same thing but never got an answer as to where a good alternative community is. I'm sure I will stay and adapt but is there is somewhere else I should also visit?

You're priced out. Should never have left biz. You can't just turn up again after 3 years and expect a) anons to spoon-feed you, b) to be able to buy at the right time. You had 3 years

I will definitely be lurking and reading up but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. Maybe I won't make it through LINK but another coin, idk still considering having it as a portion of the portfolio in case, though.

Yeah biz has always had a lot of trash on it, but every now and then you get a hq discussion like it used to be. It’s still the best place imo

Also, I agree with you here, anon, but I am trying to move forward. Can't just dwell on my mistakes.

Not too late, Anon. There's still time. Buy LINK or stay poor. This is financial advice.

Do you believe in it is the real question. I got in it at 30 cents, I held through every rise and fall until now. Still holding because unironically I think it will be worth 1k one day. If you think the same, 14 dollars is a steal for it, even if you can't get the massive stacks people like me were able to. Honestly, I should be accumulating more too. Also depends on if you can afford a long term hold. I know I can wait this out for years if I need to, I'm fine IRL. But if you need extreme gains quickly I don't know if Link would be right for you.

Okay I be a brainlet for this, but I still haven't read the whitepaper. I didn't usually do that anyways and relied on external information on coins but I did do it for a couple cryptos. I plan to go over it soon.

I agree that it probably won't give extreme gains quickly, which is why I'm currently thinking of putting some ETH in for long-term holding, and some more in other coins to speculate in the short-term.

I will add that I do believe in smart contracts already though. I need to get a more comprehensive unserstanding of the oracle problem and how ChainLink solves it first before I can truly answer if I believe in it, but based on /biz/'s enthusiam I am leaning towards yes. I think I get the gist of what the oracle problem is watched a short 2:30 vid by Sergey on it on ChainLink site but I need to dive further.
