Too repetitive, you could run the same dungeon multiple times (with boring as shit combat gameplay to boot) and not get not one iota of the resource you wanted. Japs are simply too autistic and enjoy mind-numbing non-challenging repetitive tasks. The other aspect of the game was too easily gamed once you figured it out.

Yes the grind sucks but it was padding to make the game last longer. I've put like 200 hours into it and still haven't finished the item encyclopedia because I can't get good and beat the final boss at all, let alone grind him (the actual end boss in the final dungeon post story).

I wish there was a sequel or spiritual successor to Recettear. It was great to run an item shop and rip off heroes.

Oh, another great game, but not really a /biz/ game is Kamdiori Alchemy Meister. You run a shop but it's a very minor part of the game and really it becomes mindlessly easy to make the payments after you start running dungeons seriously even if you don't do any crafting.

Well I finished UFO first and now I'm getting utterly rekt in TFTD ironman mode. After this I'm gonna replay UFO in ironman but wanted to try tftd first. Can really recommend ironman it basically changes the game completely if you can actually lose whole squads, ships and bases.

I guess that's a valid complaint. You can do arbitrage between the commodity exchanges in the game but there is no way to borrow money so it's mostly for rich old fags who already earned their buffer. It's also lacking derivatives although I guess the community is probably too small for that.
