It looks like the first trading day of 2021 is starting off with a real bang as the US dollar continues its rapid descent into oblivion. Be careful about becoming too bullish and especially be careful about buying when prices are high. We're not there yet, I don't think, but I fully expect the Fed eventually will be faced with a tough decision: allow asset prices to run away while confidence in the USD totally crumbles or tighten monetary policy, which will crash asset prices and force people back into the dollar.

Not really. The higher prices for gold, silver, platinum, and palladium held. The inflation trade appears to be in full swing.

This is probably going to be a good week for the miners and speculative assets in general. We'll see how much the Fed can tolerate the dollar going further down the swirler before they're forced to do something: talking of raising rates, actually raising rates, increasing reserve requirements, etc.

Most company where I live are on their very very last legs, unless we see major printing in the next few month, hard to see nothing happening before March/April. And thats without counting Trump who won't give up (for good reason). Pro-Trump also are just waiting for a reason to blast off some heads.

Platinum has been cheap relative to gold for years now, being stuck at roughly half the price of gold. Historically, platinum is more expensive than gold and it wasn't that long ago that platinum traded at double the price of gold. If there is to be a mean reversion, that means that platinum should surge strongly relative to gold. Platinum would have to almost quadruple from its current price to get to a 2:1 platinum:gold price ratio.

Their main area of work right now though is Nevada but i did have trouble keeping track of exactly which project there focused on, its seems their busy right now doing basic prospecting across multiple properties, which in the short run helps them but they will need to choose a specific main project eventually. I was looking at Slam Exploration this morning and they fall into the same category of a project generator that seems overextended (over 15 properties I think). Butthorse's CEO is the prime reason I say stay away. Also, getting 2 out of 3 isn't bad. Look at the performance of Klondike & Vangold vs. Butthorse- they're very different kind of animals. I own some Butthorse, and I regret every second of it because it could be in a much better performing stock. For what it claims to be it should have the rumblings of a slow growth trend but it doesn't. It sits at the bottom of my stock stack burning a hole slightly deeper every day because the only company I own doing worse than it is Arcwest Exploration, and technically that's just a short term issue. Virtually every other stock shilled on here is better than Butthorse in performance. Even the pajeet constantly pushing Bunker Hill "prep the BHLL" has a leg up on that shit stock.

My understanding of this year's issues was due to bad weather they had to hold off on some things which we should get results from the affected properties early 2021- I like that they hold copper, gold, and silver properties, and one of their main contractors is Teck which has been doing well over the past year. Arcwest also spent a large amount on ensuring infrastructure on some of their property so it may be more accessible than it has been in the past.

Klondike was going sideways for most of 2020. Microcaps don't always react immediately to the metal price, they surprise you when you least expect it. The problem for most people here is that they bought the top of Bayhorse in August and they judge the stock by the price even though most silver stocks have crashed 40% since that point. Look at Aztec Minerals for example. There is no other stock which offers what Bayhorse does at this market capitalization, go look at how much cash they can generate at 30 silver.

Looking at Blue Moon Mining at the moment, what got my attention initially was the $MOON ticker, thought it would be funny if I was here shilling $MOON and decided to look into the company. In the middle of doing DD but I like what I'm seeing. They recently regained 100% ownership of their flagship zinc-silver asset in California because their JV partner couldn't meet all of their earn-in demands. Impressive resource estimates for the market cap although they are all in the Inferred category so not entirely accurate. Doing some simple maths, their fully diluted enterprise value divided by their Inferred resources is about C$15.3 per ton of zinc equivalent. For comparison, zinc costs about US$2,700/t at the moment -- the company is valued at about 0.004x the estimated value of their Inferred resources! They also have an old mine in the property that was operated by Hecla 1943-1945 which produced over 55 tons of 12.3% Zn, 3.75ozt Ag, 1.9gpt Au concentrate. It was explored by big companies like Boliden and Lac Minerals (now Barrick) in the 1980's and 1990's and got its current resource estimate in 2008, updated in 2017. Financials are kinda meh honestly but at least no debt. The company plans to advance the project on their own and will probably begin drilling soon, they have drilling permits ready. I'll have to do more DD before investing but this is looking like a very exciting microcap. I still want to DD Fireweed Zinc before investing too, to see which of them is more favorably valued.

>Advice/Question for Miner Investors

I think you lads might have gone down the wrong direction in PM Investments, reason being when the shit hits the fan and the gold/silver price goes to the fucking moon all the usual PM Mining Countries will Nationalise those mines straight away and will not only allow foreign investors but also domestic investors to take the huge amount of profits they will be making.

Ive heard a story already about how a pair of American investors bought/setup a mine in China and when they struck gold the Chinese Government moved in right away and took it off them, that was only a few years ago with G/S still at around these current low prices as the Chinese know exactly whats going on in this world and what will be happening in the future and had no hesitation in taking ownership off investors, So when western Countries get caught with their head up their arse in this collapse and are broke and desperate you know they will move in and confiscate everything and tell the investors to go fuck themselves.

I was interested in investing myself in mining stocks until i heard about this the other day and welcome anyone to explain to me if this cant happen or the info is false because it sounds fairly likely to me.

Inflation. I think it's reasonably certain that inflation will be more than 3.1% per year although not for the entire 30 year term. That puts the real rate of a 3.1% mortgage at close to zero. More like $50,000/year ($4,270/month P&I) and you have to factor in property taxes, too. In high property tax states, that's anywhere from 2% to 4% ($20,000 - $40,000) per year in addition to the mortgage a person has to pay.
