used to be a monero bull until I started researching ring signatures.

11 dummy signatures are mixed with the REAL SENDER SIGNATURE for each tx. besides the fact that this mean probabalistic attacks are very possible, it means that chain bloat is going to be 10x that of a normal chain like BTC. And the devs admit that they know RS are bad and that they don't really know how they could change to a better system with the current codebase of monero.

Long term my bet is on litecoin + Mimble Wimble for privacy

fuck that noise. I actually have never used nor would currently trust another privacy coin other than XMR and I have used it a lot. I will be sad to see it go but I don't think it has a chance, its a clunky unintuitive mess compared to ltc not to mention you can't buy it anywhere
