Bitcoin is nowhere near the top you moron. Many normies bought the top at 19k last cycle, and sold low when it crashed. Those dipshits think btc is still a scam at these prices because they fucked up. Their sheep-like brains cannot register that it was their mistake for buying the top of a 20x yearly parabola, therefore "btc MUST be a scam"
>source: I know some of these people
What does this mean? btc is going to atleast 50k (possibly higher) before the normrods start thinking "hmmm, maybe I should get back into this after all". At which point we reach a new mania phase and dump on them. Its simply nature

do NOT listen to these street shitting niggers. they are either
a) unsure themselves and sitting with their dicks in their hands
b) unironically evil and trying to strip anons from their wealth

I always find this sentiment bizarre, like I'm hopping to some alternate dimension. What the fuck are these people talking about. Whenever I snoop around the internet and find normalfags, redditors, etc discussing bitcoin, they all keep sharing this same sentiment, alleging that crypto is a casino where you're not allowed to cash out your chips, etc etc etc.

Where do they get this idea? Exchanging crypto is easier than transfering money from one bank account to another for fucks sake.

They don't know that 'real money' isn't real. They don't know that fiat is crumbling. They don't know that is the sole reason why companies like Microstrategies et al are holding it in their treasuries.
I'm lucky enough to be interested in learning about investing, finance, and macro so that I do it on my own time for enjoyment. These people are just blissfully unaware of the pain around the corner. >I'm lucky enough to be interested in learning about investing, finance, and macro so that I do it on my own time for enjoyment

I feel the same way. I'm a fucking loser, I'm 27 and my life is on the edge of nothing, but I fucking love finance. I never realized how interesting it was to study markets, macroeconomics and monetary value. I think it's because it reduces life down to a simple game a value via monetary wealth and what really has value in this clown world. Nothing ever made sense, that what blows my mind. Stocks are fucking overvalued, real estate is overvalued, these things have been propped up in the same way that a generational ponzi scheme would work; similar to something like gold. It's kind of incredible how fucking crazy this world is. Thanks to diving into my interest, I'm now worth over 800k USD when 5 years ago I had 200$ in my bank account and I'm a NEET.

The point is that quadriga ran with people's money (including mine, 20k worth), and it happens time and time and time and time again. Even when it doesn't, most banks are known to be niggers about these kinds of transactions and reject a cash-in, possibly completely freezing your account and making you jump through hoops to get it fixed.
Ultimately, they are right. Just because you only put your money in bitcoin yesterday and haven't even heard of mt goy doesn't mean it's not real.

>almost everything is valued on: hype, emotions

Happy to say, I think ygmi. You get it. That was the conclusion I came to when I was doing research and watching essentially history lessons on stock market crashes and run ups while working my shit job. I told my parents I'm holding over 100k in assets so they aren't completely miserable thinking I'm a complete loser. When Bitcoin hits 100k, I'll cash out 2-3 and let them know to put them at ease. Little do they know I'm fucking loaded. I tried my hardest to convince my dad to buy 5 Bitcoin when it dipped to 4k during the covid crash and he wouldn't listen. He bought a full bitcoin at 18k, but that's okay. I'm happy for him. He has a great job and has 800k in his 401k and 250 grand in cash. I shiver at the thought of him just having bought 10 Bitcoin. He would've only spent 40k and would have over 300K now.

I used to be so apathetic and bitter about the world. I held an autistic mindset that hard work and true talent pays off. I was pursuing a career in cinematography and editing, but failed miserably. I always was in my head thinking how strange the world was and how money was my enemy. Wealth was never my enemy, it's the establishments and people that prop up the cycle. I can still game the system and pursue my passions. I don't care to be famous or rich, but if I can understand humanity better by playing the game, then I will and I'll try.

how are the big players supposed to cash out behind the scenes when no one can buy their coins when exchanges are down?

>> No.25484895

>>25484837
They don't operate through exchanges, I'm damn certain they get other people to operate on their behalf, which includes those people taking a hit, possibly via insurance if it gets that bad but usually through any other means possible, and paying them what they're owed, should the exchange run with their money.

Big players don't think in short terms, they aren't cashing out at 500k. They're cashing out in 10 years and maybe 10% of their stack at that.

never try to convince someone to buy bitcoin, introduce the idea to them once, and then shut up about it if they don't want to follow through. do NOT tell them you own bitcoin, and do NOT keep talking about it. it is not your job to make them rich

Don't let your ego get to you. Don't tell anyone except maybe your parents about Bitcoin. You have no obligation to make your friends or relatives rich. It's a lose-lose. If they win, they would never give you credit. If they lose, they'll say you were stupid and ruined their life.

Fuck them

Of course, scams are side effect of something successful, people want easy money and for easy money
you need dumb people to invest. If the investor is not doing his research what do you expect?
The situation is almost hilarious, you see people falling for the dumbest shit and later blaming the
whole market instead of looking at themselves for being obvious retards without the ability to
foresee possible downturns.
