ETH is a good project, but it has serious flaws WRT the governance model and especially PoS transition. I don’t think ETH 2.0’s final phase will ever roll out, and even Vitalik is proposing some half-baked “ETH 1.5” as a final move for the platform, relying on L2s to do almost everything at scale.
It will always have value, probably won’t go anywhere for at least a decade, but I don’t see it going very far from here. Maybe it’s just because of the last bear market and I’m wrong, that would be nice.
