Thanks to a housing crash and the homeowners renovation incompetence (they tried to do a basement job themselves) I bagged a 3 bed, 1.5 bath house w/garage/basement/nice rear deck and yard plus a redone main floor (they had pros do that) for just $400 a month. Also got a nice gas fireplace in the living room. Got a 65" HDTV in the bargain to. (Older rear projection type;still worked though). This was several years ago.

Since it doesn't have a yr lease, it'd be good while I got a feel for the area and figured out if I wanted to stay with that company.
