Basically worst year of my life. I graduated college, found out some of the student loans were in my name instead of my mom's, wasted a bunch of money moving in with a gf and breaking up with her. I don't know what to do; I'm basically fucked. I have 100 link so if it never moons I might as well kill myself. I can't fix the debt with my income, I can't buy a house with my income, and I can't go back to school with all this debt and my income. I'm not even being negative biochemistry is a legitimate fucking scam and so is medicine unless you do nursing. I'm so fucking useless lmao

Agreed, was on /b/ back in like 2005/6, then moved around other boards for a while, ended up on /pol/ for a few years and then came to /biz/ in late 2018. Ashamed I missed 2017, but /biz/ feels like the end of a very long run. It was really fun and I actually learned a lot. Not sure if there's much more to imageboard culture though, this might be the last stop.

Best year of my life financially as well, although I just got into cryptos a few months ago I’m up ~110% for now. Not to mention I finally got a well paying job and invested in a side business which is paying dividends. Also hedged against inflation with some gold and silver early in the “pandemic” which is looking good for me so far.

Made my bones in my field this year, doubled my salary and made peace with inevitable death and my mortality thanks to covid. Breaking into crypto and learning. Not a very fun year but it made me a better man definitely.
