I have been talking with my father almost daily about how risky his "investments" in the stock market up (balls deep in Apple, no hedging, basically relying on "line go up" economics), he still has no interest in having anything tangible like physical gold, even a small percentage of his life savings (I recommended 20%). He is convinced that even if we see a 2008-tier crash that it will rebound within a decade by the time he needs to start selling anyway. Boomers really think this shit will just keep growing forever despite no actual productive increase in prosperity.

Then I started ranting about how when I move back home in a few years I won't even be able to afford a home to live near them because housing is so inflated. God this shit pisses me off, to even compete with previous generations I have to throw whatever money I make at extremely risky "assets" like crypto and miner stocks, while hedging in physical metals so I can actually have savings.

I dn't think you understand what I mean by 0. I had no neoptistic way into the economy (since neither of my parents had jobs of their own and my school had a huge catchment area), I spent 3 years looking for any fucking bottom-of-the-barrel-scraping job I could get - and when I finally got in on an apprenticeship (note: classed as training, not actual legally qualifiable work for those Corona-assistence schemes), the entire corporation went under in less than a week because Corona - which from there made to concept of 'getting a job' a complete joke.
I literally do not have neough money to even own a stock portfolio in my country; I hate miner and futures posting because of it (since I'm eternally excluded from gains I wanted to invest in months prior).

I have no future, I have no reasonable/logical way to attain a future through effort, and the only thing I can do is wait for my pitiful investments to come into play, so I can actually start making money, to be able to make money. 1)climb it
2)kill yourself

so whats it going to be?

What country are you in? Use your strongest qualities to maximise your existence. Personally, im really good at talking to people, so i've been able to bullshit my way into many jobs and now im in a position that pays well above average and im not remotely qualified to do, but im a self starter so once i was in i immediately taught myself. My resume is entirely fraudulent. None of that bullshit matters though because in the real world, every normie is a bullshitter. what matters is how much better at it you are than them.

Maybe thats not your thing though. Maybe you've got something else you can leverage to get ahead in the world. You're here, in /pmg/ so you're definitely not an NPC, but you'll die like one if you live like one.

If you were trying to piss me off, congrats.
'Talking to people' (me, being an ex-head debator) doesn't mean shit when it all loops back to 'send us your online application so Careers/HR can ignore it' or 'sorry, but were struggling with Corona as is, we aren't hiring' (provided it's not illegal to leave your house when you ask).

I'll run through a few other inb4's that often get brought up; that are equally meaningless:
>have you tried Charity work?
It's basically all I do when I'm not dealing with my psychotic mother, sleeping or applying for work. Pro tip - it means fuck all in an interview.
>have you tried Volunteer work to secure an actual job?
Yeah, twice, and both times I worked for over 3 months until I was thinly told they were never going to hire me; and I was just slave labor to them.
>Muh'Cdonalds is always hiring
Except when a fuckup on their end (giving me an offer 73 miles away, then being suprised when I 'dont show up' after telling them It's impossible) results in me getting blacklisted from every chain in the area
>gubbermend schemes!
Afforementioned apprenticeship took me 3 years to wait for, and now I'm back to the bottom of the pile, behind everyone who lost their actual job
>just pretend you're a tranner/ghey and it's easy pickings
Never; on principal - faggot.
>well aren't you a grumpy downer - JUST TRY HARDER N B HAPI (wait did I say that already??)
This inb4 is here soley because it's the response dumbasses like (You) default/loop back to when all of the above are exhausted.

Much of the Pickle Lake district's gold deposits are hosted by BIF's (Banded Iron Formations) with alteration zones of quartz vein infilling as well sporadically appearing as well. Structurally it looks like a fantastic territory for exploration work, though some areas of the district have caps of overburden several hundred feet thick which can hamper even exploration drill programs. The richer gold segments at Dona Lake match up with a few other local projects associated with replacement pyrrhotite from magentite. Dona lake had historic mining which didnt trend to depth as these early miners were after enriched gold quartz, drilling shows that there is likely better ore at depth on the property but needs further investigation. All in all ground looks good in my opinion.

Go on then, if I'm the delusional one why don't you go ahead and name the golden answer that nobody had considered. If I'm the one who isn't grounded in reality, then it should be easy; no?

I'll give you a quick header. I don't 'believe', I 'objectively know', and am continually proven right by anecdotal evidence.

Nah, I'm not a coward. Same can't be said for you if that's your final gambit; as oppose to patience.

its horribly competitive in this sector too. There is a ton of work out in the field right now, every explorer is hiring but just like everywhere there are hundreds more people looking for work than there are open positions. Also I really do try to give people a fair try at a job because thats how I got my foot in the door, I was working for people who didnt give two shits about family connections and such, if I had sucked at my job I wouldnt have kept it. Sometimes people need a day or two to get situated in a job setting, a lot of employers are missing out on great people because of this.

I can't even hope having a job because i'm so stoned by painkillers half the day i barely can keep the eyes open. I'll never not be a virgin because my dick is basically a plastic tube tied to a bag. I'll never be able to have kids or please a woman. I'll never be anything but a dead weight to my parents until my death and it make me so sad i'll never be able to give them grandchildren. All i have to live with is pathetic handibux making me live under the poverty threshold.

Exactly. We live in a world where people have no consequences, especially big business. The government goes out of its way to make sure everybody has happy times and never goes through a bad thing.

And on the subject of my original comment, boomers make me sick, they are the most worthless, know nothing, petulant entitled generation. They had the generations before and after them sacrifice everything to prop them up. They had their parents die for them in world War two and they steal from subsequent generations. They are the weak men that brought hard times.

The hilarious thing is that they scapegoat millenials, but while most millenials are retarded, our generation is the strong generation that will bring good times. We are thrifty, we know how to save (us not retarded ones) we teach ourselves skills and trades. We are highly educated. We don't believe propiganda bullshit We are one of the greatest generations since the greatest and silent generations.

I like Metals Creek, own some. Yeah Dona Lake Project has an old mine with ore hosted in BIFs and previous drilling shows that ore continues below the mine workings, open at depth. There's also a footwall structure somewhere in the middle of the mine with known gold. The current drilling program continues to depth under the lowest level of the mine to see how far down the gold actually goes, also drilling untested targets outside the mine in areas targeted with a Mag survey (BIF-hosted gold -- magnetic areas may contain deposits)

As for Ogden, that's their JV with Goldcorp. Ogden is situated along the Destor fault lines if I remember correctly, in any case it's along strike to Timmins. Multiple projects along strike there with big and small players alike. Ripe ground for exploration. Gold if I remember correctly is hosted in mafic volcanics, not absolutely certain rn.

Because you don't understand money. People have been using fiat for centuries. Fiat works great as money because it is much easier to use than precious metals. Until some greedy jew prints the fiat into oblivion, it is the objectively superior form of money. Now we have digital money which is superior to fiat in every way and it can't be printed into oblivion.

Humans attribute value to things, there can exist no such concept as intrinsic value. A comet made of gold on the edge of the observable universe has no value to anyone because it can never be reached. It is gold, but worthless.

that's literally how people get rich though. Borrow valuable money and pay the loan back with less valuable future money. Use the loan to buy tangible assets that actually increase in value over time because the money lost value against them. Then take the proceeds from all that inflation riding to invest in ventures that produce money far faster than it loses value.

Money losing value over time is the whole point of the thing. Once a person understands that they'll get far wealthier than the ever could off the value of their own work alone.

The irony of telling me to read about the very point addressed in the post you are replying to. There is no government in crypto. The power is in the hands of the users. Transactions are cheap and can't be blocked. The units are small enough to make extremely small transactions. You can send and receive money with affordable devices from anywhere with internet. It can't be seized or taxed.

The scenario where fiat fails has already occurred across many nations in south america and africa. Do they revert back to precious metals? No, they use crypto.

bitcoin is NOT a store of value.

The medium of exchange is the tool that facilitates the indirect exchange system, which we created as a solution to the inefficient barter system.

Instead of having to 'sell' the good that you dont want directly for the good you do want to 'buy' (barter), you can now 'sell' the good for another good(the medium of exchange), and then 'buy' the goods and services you want with the medium of exchange.

For this to work, the medium of exchange(money) must be a useful commodity that can retain consistent tangible value and utility, and therefore always have demand from others who are in turn looking to exchange their goods for said commodity (now the means of exchange). One of the most important benifits of this is that the medium of exchange can now act as a 'store of value', where 'purchasing power' can be stored in a commodity that can reliably be predicted to retain value over time.

Many commodities have been used as the means of exchange throughout history, but the free market has determined Gold and Silver suit our purposes for a means of exchange best.

Crypto currency fails as a means of exchange as it is not a commodity with any utility in and of itself, therefore cannot be a store of value. Despite its advantages over commodities in a digital sense, it is still expensive, slow, and difficult to use(relative to other mediums)

Governments derive their power from a compliant tax base. If everyone starts ignoring them enough, their power will wane. Simply by just paying the taxes you need to pay to not get in trouble, as well as using crypto, metals and growing your own food, you can starve the beast from the welfare funds it needs to keep going.

I'm using my crypto to get more metals. It's simply more efficient than waging for decades.

it's a matter of fraction of the population invested. Governments can continue doing what they do as long as most of the power is in the hands of invested people.

that's mostly a matter of age. As people get older they tend to get a lot more invested in the financial systems they were forced into unwillingly at first. And then they tend to accumulate more power in the form of investment in the prevailing system. Young people are revolutionary thinkers, and they should be. But they're pushing against massive inertia in the form of anyone older than them. The system must collapse under its own weight because nobody invested in it is going to try to end it.

you're dangerously close to Big Bob philosophy.

the person making more than the crypto investor is the crypto inventor
the person making more than the wagie is the employer.

stacking becomes millions of times more efficient if you optimize earning first. But once you optimize earning, stacking will become less interesting.

>You can't regulate crypto to crypto transactions.
You can when you classify it as a federal crime for creating a secondary currency, and put an instant 15 years in hard-knocks prison for owning it. Look at the last guys who even attempted to to think of subverting the USD - got done in on not only federal charges, but smacked with domestic terrorism on top.
Don't forget that the US has essentially carpet bombed the entirety of the Middle East because they even dared think of destabilizing the USD - if Crypto ever becomes a tangible problem, it too will be carpet bombed into oblivion; and all of NATO will follow suit. At which point, wanting to follow suit (since Crypto is a problem there too), China will gladly oblige (likely with a hidden death penalty on top) - then you'll have Russia and Africa left. Russia will be entirely dependant on what Putin/his next choice think of it, Africa won't even have the framework to support it.

You make money in crypto and stocks then you branch out into precious metals and the one financial industry /biz/ is too poor to get involved in- real estate. Precious metals and housing are longterm stores of value that don't easily depreciate, stocks and crypto are retarded shit that do a 300% climb in a year and then dump 150% in a single night because fuck you. It's a very simple game of moving your immaterial fiat gained from trading blurpleberries into something more lasting that can't easily lose value and will more than likely gain value as countries like Russia and China move back towards gold-backed currencies to spite Amerijews and EUjews.

The airial tram that was built to service the mine was one of the longest in the world and it was entirely gravity controlled. The Porter Idaho however was built too late to properly work and the price of silver crashed leaving the site abandoned only 4 years into its operation. The site would still have a skeleton crew maintaining it for a decade but no real mining actually occurred.

Silver miner anon, I would appreciate your thoughts on Tri Origin Exploration (TOE). 6m market cap gold explorer with four properties in Canada. Management seems "shareholder focused" according to multiple posters in CEO.CA chat. Seems their properties are massive (I calculated over 500 sq km total). I don't have a definitive idea of their deposits in the ground yet.

"TOE is not a grassroots play. This is not 100% uncertainty and pure hope. For a stock with 1) a historic resource, 2) very good historic grades rivaling early results from companies like GBR and AMX who have exploded, 3) being on trend with Casa Berardi, 4) having management that is smart and is not willing to kill the company to stroke his own ego and 5) having mineralization throughout the properties, an $8.5 (now 6) million cap is pretty darn de-risked in my opinion."

You are by definition wrong. The biggest expense in housing is depreciation. Ignoring the fact that a higher interest rate would make housing go 08 again, developed real estate is the most capital intensive industry. Capital has to get maintained or you lose money. The reason every boomer wants to be a re investor is because the fed pumped prices to the moon through discount rates and then cantillon effects made them blind to the actual depreciation costs of their assets. Housing is a dog shit business to be in. People like the Rothschild's own farmland and highly specific strips of real estate that are valued on location, not the improvements on top of them

Have looked through the chat for the past year, a lot of somewhat credible people are enthusiastic about it. Seems like one of those stocks that you throw some money into as a gamble, might absolutely soar and become the next Wallbridge, or might not do very much. Also, as some people point out, these kinds of companies can soar in a bull market even if they don't find very much.

"Mark keeps pounding this but hes right, last bull market, companies with absolutely nothing going on were getting $1 Billion MCs. I really believe that TOE with the Sky Lake property has the potential for something substantial and when the bull market takes off, those that entered in at this price point are going to be laughing. I got into $WM when it was at $0.04 and it really was a spec play at the time and when they picked up Fenelon from $BAR it was still a spec play before it took off. You HAVE to see the potential to get a stock at this stage and watch it grow."

Pizdets quotes their previous drill results and points out that "They were all dusters, the best they had was 1 g/t over 1 meter."

https://ceo.ca/toe?0b90037ee094

@MarkHanna angrily replies to this and protests that Sky Lake is what really matters. You have to be careful with him; he angrily pumped Wallbridge all the way to the bottom this year. @AlohaGold88 has the most reasonable assessment:

"Myself I bought TOE for Sky Lake property and the lack of exploration to any depth as well as for Bob's talents. It is a spec play for sure, but with Osisko jumping on board that gives TOE a vote of confidence. Also with the share structure so tightly held by long term holders TOE has the ability to have explosive moves on good NR."

GIS would have been a much better buy than this when it was at an $11 million mcap, because that company had better proven results, but it's slightly more expensive now, so you might not be so interested in it. I'd rather double down on SSE than buy TOE.

Get the ETF "SILJ" if you want to be safe. It has all the mid-tier producers like First Majestic, Hecla Mining, and Endeavour Silver. I have seen some people attacking the ETFs lately but they are wrong to do so, the holdings in them are sound, and they will do extremely well for people who either won't or can't choose individual miners. David Brady is playing this silver bull market with SILJ. For a little more leverage, two best small silver producers on Robinhood are Great Panther--trading at 4x cash flow, and Alexco--near-term silver producer with very good exploration potential. AUMN if you want to take more risk. Unfortunately, the truly small silver small caps aren't on Robinhood or the NYSE. My own portfolio is picture related, and I don't think that a single one is listed there.

Don Durrett likes producers, which tend to be listed on the NYSE; I highly recommend his articles:
