The DOW must go back down. It cant keep going up for eternity right?

>> No.25327307

capitalism is built on infinite expansion. if it doesnt keep going up then the system fails.

Damn, so should I just 100x long the world economy over a 25-year span? If the trade fails, the world economy probably failed too so money wouldn't matter at that point.

>> No.25327461

>>25327416
unironically, yes. it will always go up until it doesnt. and when it doesn't, your money wont matter anymore.

Yes. Buy ammo.

hence, inflation is part of it.

Yes. DOW will increase forever due to inflation. Same with USD/BTC.

Would I really want to live at that point? I think i'd just die.

it can and will
I mean at some point the universe will die obviously. But other than that

>> No.25327690

>>25327592
Ya, but inflation isn't the main thing that's happening there. 1985-2020 theres been inflation of 150% but the DOW went up 2100% between that time.

No, because you're a jew if you only live for money. lol

Im not a Jew for not wanting to live in a pre-money society. Living in the dark ages sounds like it fucking sucks.

That was during a period of real growth.
2008ish-2020 = financialization of the economy (i.e. not real growth).

>> No.25327959

>>25327899
We don't have deflation. We have massive inflation. Hyperinflation in assets and real estate. 20%-100%+, this year.
CPI doesn't measure that lol.

The growth is the same so what's the difference?

Not talking about religion either.

Pretty funny to see people will neck if the system collapses lol.

>> No.25328217

Use a log scale graph. Just because it's appreciated by 100% doesn't mean twice as much money has been put in, this is just how markets work. Inflation and other factors guarantee it "goes up" over time. As long as the US remains the eminent economy of the planet and people keep trusting it with their investments it will continue to trend upward.
