Alright, change my mind, XRP NPCs: Ripple Labs makes software that has actual use by banks, fine. The hope, as it seems to me, is that banks will want to accumulate as much XRP to use to enable instant settlements, SO, Ripple sold mass quantities of XRP on the open market, so that banks could eventually buy them from you at some insane valuation (as opposed to selling XRP directly to the institutional customers)?

I mean, this plan doesn’t sound remotely plausible even given Ripple’s standing as a software company. What am I missing? I will listen with an open mind.

They don't want you holding xrp, the whales will buy back in at the bottom. The reason they are not selling over the counter is because it doesn't affect xrp's price. The price of xrp needs to be higher for technical reasons but they don't want YOU holding it. I assume they will leave xrp at the bottom so it appears dead. Then whales will rebuy, driving the price up to $1 or $3, shaking out people that don't believe in the 2k memes

Filling in some logical gaps, obviously there needs to be a market, to set the price. And there needs to be a mechanism by which Ripple hands XRP over to the institutions. So they crafted a scheme- which BTW would be far worse than securities regulation violations- through which they would profit from the sale by going to the market, but the institutions would pay less than that price through some FUD that wrecked the price to close to nothing and shook out any individual investors.

This sounds a bit Q-tier to me but maybe I’m wrong?

And let me tell you, when the market first crashed in March and XRP reached 17c I realized it is over and I will never be rich. The kikes will never allow it. At first it was hard trying to come to terms with this fact but I eventually came to the conclusion that the only way to be rich, is to pretend that I am rich. So one day I blurted out to my friends and family that I'm very rich and have pretty much made it from crypto for a while but that I've been keeping a low profile for obvious reasons. Then I started telling them all about RapidX, Brand Garlinghouse, babacugs, the Masonic Monetary System and how everthing is connected. First, they didn't believe me. Second, every time the price of Bitcoin went up or was in the news they kept asking me about my "bitcoins", "how about those bitcoins going up lately anon". It was very hard dealing with this sort of double life so I just kept smiling but deep inside I was seething because the price of XRP was still .25c at that time and I had traded my BTC for more XRP the year before and here I was holding my Ripple bags while the Golden Bull Run was departing without me. Just one disaster after the next, at one point I was shorting XRP because my stack was getting smoler from all the failed longs before. Even that didn't stick as Ripple made some pathetic announcement about some bank partnership so the price shot up 5% and liquidated me. Then around Christmas the SEC news dropped and nearly brought me to complete ruin. All my longs obliterated, my net worth sunk to new lows not seen since the Great Depression and the despair was taking it's toll on my health too. In the end my friends and family all think I'm the same loser so nothing has changed except now I'm also known as that "weird bitcoin guy". I don't know how much longer I can keep this charade going and I don't think it even worked. What should I do now? I know as soon as I sell the price shoots to $2k.

the mistake is to assume all of the xrp is held by retail investors like people on twitter and that banks are going to buy back from retail. of course wallets are anonymous, but if you look at the wallet stats, there is only 300k-400k cold wallets with between 1k-800k xrp or something. ive tallied it up and its like 6 billion xrp. thats only 6% of the total supply in cold wallets. now if you assume that millions of normies are holding on exchanges, thats possible, and there could be another 12 or 20 billion held on exchanges, but even then, thats not the entire supply, and i personally believe most of the xrp is not held by retail investors but rather that banks have already bought in. i cannot produce hard evidence of this, but there are some hints:

when xrp pumped 300% in 2 days on nov 20, was it retail who did that? for an 11 billoin mcap coin and 24 hour volume in the billions? are you telling me every single crypto normie just bought xrp in the same day and perfectly synchronized unconsciously?

MOREOVER, why did XLM follow the price increase? XLM had nothing to do with the airdrop yet it pumped 300% also? ALGO also pumped to 40 cents.

so apparently we are supposed to believe that normies pumped billions in volume synchronously in a 24-72 hour period because of the flare airdrop which was announced for days? why did the price not pump slowly over weeks? why did it all occur on one day? please dont tell me it was just FOMO that is really a cheap copout. why did all 3 of these coins pump? XLM and ALGO have nothing to do with flare. but they are supposedly ISO20022 coins and have very heavy institutional ties. also pic related, you can see that the pump occurred 3 days before the ISO20022 migration for banks. could be just a coincidence. could not be. the point i am making is that everyone is making assumptions but iso20022 coin holders are not being illogical or just idiots

Dude holy shit EVERY coin pumped at the same time. Literally. The top of first pump was for EVERY COIN on 24th nov. Look it up. It's just how crypto markets work.

It's probably whales with bags diversified across all the various cryptos that initiate the pumps and dumps and let retail drive it up or sell it down, reaping profits off of inexperienced people handing them money.

And every time in cycles it gets to a point where the snowball effect leads to an unorchestrated pump, when normies pile on money en masse.
