For me XRP was a small part (5%) of a diversified portfolio. I bought it and held it because I believed in those who believed in the project. At times it was a 2x for me too which wasn't a bad swing. The trading volume alone was enough for me to consider it worth holding. To be fair before this SEC announcement it still would have a fair chance at showing a fair return too. Even once the dust settles it will still have a fair chance at showing a fair return too assuming the SEC result is neutral/proportionate fine and it is relisted promptly.

That said there is NO WAY I'm holding it at the moment. There is no point. It is far too risky. I've sold it at 34c and made some money and if I want back in I can at any point and more than likely lower than the current price.
