Obviously most of these folks saying they’ve got 2.4 million in crypto are full of shit. On a real note- the best thing I ever did for my life was set up a separate bank account with $1000 for emergencies. It will change your life in ways you couldn’t believe. Once you have that everything changes. If something unexpected happens instead of immediately swiping a credit card you just take it out of the emergency fund and then put the money back next payday. Do whatever you have to do to make this happen. Your entire life will change afterward.

I can answer this. My bank account has a $300 minimum to have a free checking account. I keep all accounts at the min possible to not overdraft since the interest rate is 0.01% (0.025% for premium members who have $50,000 in savings lmao!) and have all that money that would be in there in investments. What about an emergency fund you ask? I keep all my change like some kind of broken acorns and if something ever happens were I need a couple hundred dollars I have very inconvenient legal tender to cover it.
