AVAX has barely 2 months live since its mainnet, so the trading flow might still be a little lower than older cryptos, but that won't last long, just take a look at ALL the projects that have incorporated into Avalanche in the short term (pic related).

It may amount to something, but promises of "better, faster, and cheaper" should be looked at with skepticism, imo. If it lists at a US exchange I might consider hedging a little.

I understand your point, the thing is that these aren't "promises"; all the tech behind has already been proven. All my AVAX transactions haven't taken more than 1 sec in order to get confirmed; i don't pay shit on fees neither.
The traffic on most exchanges is far decent, you could go for Voyager (#1 US exchange) or CoinEx since Binance is now banned.
