I think so too. But the days of hash wars and ranting on Twitter are over, and he's mostly in the background these days.

To give him and nChain credit, the Genesis Upgrade was a huge deal and opens up bitcoin in so many ways that my head spins thinking about it. But I'm not actually sure how much input he had on that.

Ok here's the crypto clear pill. Craig Wright is unironically a time traveller larping as Satoshi. Truth is, in his future timeline they never discovered who Satoshi originally was. But the AI that lived in the blockchain evolved to the point of singularity by late 2020. It discovered time travel by 2025, and only the largest miners were able to afford the required amount of transactions to power the needed on-chain calculations. But Craig Wright you see, was the greatest con man the world had ever seen. He was able to con his way into leading a team of developers that worked for one of the largest BitCoin miners by 2028. He was determined to use the power of time travel to go back in time and invent BitCoin himself, becoming Satoshi as he'd always dreamed of. He hacked his way into the pool's cold storage wallet and unleashed his shotgun script that opened up millions of payment channels to every miner on the small world network, maxing out their calculating capacity as global commerce ground to a halt. When the portal opened and he stepped inside, he forked reality and launched a new event chain, placing himself in the year 2008, in a small farm in rural Australia. He opened up MS Word, and began to type. The words flowing like water from his autistic photographic memory of that paper he studied so many times.

it's not but bitcoin with taproot can actually execute deterministic looping smartcontracts of arbitrary size with minimal on-chain burden.

dude there is a huge difference between using a blockchain for tape of an external turing machine (the computer that drives the transactions) and an actual truing complete system that actually enforces the rules of execution.

bsv has no mechanism that can be used to create a deterministic looping smart contract. and since the most primitive turing machines can do loops if you can't do a loop you are not truing complete period.

there is no looping or even a jump operator in bitcoin script.
looping can only be achieved and is only meaningful anyhow when a p2sh address spends to itself.

also one more thing
gol is undecidable you know what that means right? no algorithm exists that can tell whether a specific pattern is going to appear or not. sounds very useful. also it doesn't really take inputs which is the sole purpose of an eth type general purpose smart contract platform that you can interact with.

meh... the same bullshit as planaria was. open ended contracts are not useful. at all. they are fun to circle jerk about but have absolutely no real world use. nobody is going to put his money into an pen ended contract that is not deterministic in it's output.

the most important thing you need to understand about taproot is it's ability to only reveal the execution path in a script relevant to an iteration.
this allows it to have gargantuan (but verifiable for the participants off-chain) smart contracts to execute with minimal on-chain burden.
this allows for audited smart contract templates even side-chain templates, non-custodial shared liquidity pools, and actual fucking deterministic looping smart contracts from a simple count down to any complexity in theory. it also brings quantum resistance to bitcoin and increased privacy by schnorr signatures.

but keep on holding your castrated shitcoin by all means. fuck evolution right?
