are taxes the ultimate gainz goblin?
I'm considering moving to peru on a student visa just so I can get capital gains taxes down to 5%, if I stay in my home country it's anywhere from 20-40k depending on if the frequency you've traded with the account is, worst thing is they can come after me for up to 5 years demanding more money if I get a lower rate
how much in taxes do you pay?
how do you avoid paying?

To be honest with you, if you're asking this question, you don't.

Don't try to evade taxes, it never works. It might take some time but eventually (((they))) they will come down at you with the wrath of god and quite literally fuck your asshole with your own dick.

Tax avoidance on the other hand is a real possibility if you have a well paid accountant or tax lawyer or some such, who knows his shit. But since they're so well paid it's only feasible if we're talking large sums of money.

Protip if you're talking about crypto gainz: Germoney has 0% taxes on them gains if you held for more than 1 year.

if I'm not from the EU, can I pay to go to school there and be considered a resident?

depends where you're from.

if you're from a shithole you might just be able to ask for asylum - the gates are open since 2015.

If you're a legit student you also have a real good shot to migrate into the EU / Germany.

My university was like 30% gooks and sandpeople, so I guess they take you - you can write basic english so you're better than a lot of them already.

also, yes. as a student you should apply to Erasmus student exchange and as soon as you're in Germany it's hard for us to kick you out again.
Just assuming that you actually want to be a productive member of society, they probably just let you stay if you want to. having a degree of course.

I don't want to move there permanently, I'm a leaf and I don't think I'd be a good fit socially there
some shit here about having to spend 183 days outside of the country as a resident in a country with a tax treaty to make it exempt from taxes here

We actually love the canooks and you'd be surprised how welcoming and fun Germans/Germany can be.
I'm no expert but I guess if you live in there for a year you should be able to cash out your crypto gains tax free, even as a student. Don't know how it'll work to transfer them back to Canada tho.

Having said that, I don't even live there anymore, I'm in Ireland now. I still have a German bank account to eventually unload my cryptos, tho.

is there a reason why? germans tend to come here for nature?
>and you'd be surprised how welcoming and fun Germans/Germany can be.
ok, I find I fit in with more rural type people than, would there be universities not in a big city, but a smaller town of 50-100k with some wilderness nearby?

I don't know you, but Canadians (in my experience tend to be friendly and not obnoxious like US-americans, which goes a long way in Germany.
Two of my good friends are Canadian born and they both migrated to Germany in their 20s and have kids and a live in Germany now.

Theres a few "smaller" cities. But they are more like in the 50-200k range BUT with nature all around them.
Namely: Freiburg, Goettingen, Heidelberg, Tuebingen, Marburg, Greifswald, etc. pp.
There's loads.

Anyway, I hope this helps. I have other shit to do now, so GOOD LUCK! I mean it. you gonna make it, bro.
