Exchanges have been having Bitcoin runs for 8 months. An unprecedented amount of Bitcoin is being taken out of exchanges for long term holding

This is Coinbase refilling their hot wallet from one of their cold wallets and can be seen happening often for the past 8 months.

Satoshi doesn’t have a 10K Bitcoin wallet. All of satoshi’s bitcoin are in 50BTC chunks (early BTC mining reward) in thousands of different addresses.

Ever occur to people that Coinbase needs this to fulfill forward contracts and subsequent distribution that results from long-call derivative expirations?

There’s no way that Coinbase doesn’t have something in place to prevent that... right...

>> No.25197907

>>25197843
Why would they prevent it? Sure he might hit a 72 hour delay for the order to be verified, but it's his money and he can place whatever buy/sell order he wants. Coinbase makes money either way.

Yes, BUT, if satoshi actually is craig wright. He is known to have kept his originally mined bitcoins in a trust, and get loans using bitcoin in the trust as a collateral (this was in his Australian tax office dispute), and having legally transferred control over those coins. So it is not impossible that part of those coins we see as unmoved, have actually legally moved hands by now, and have been exchanged for newer bitcoins which are easier to sell while going unnoticed.
Its a conspiracy theory but reality is often stranger than fiction. We know for a fact that those coins were in a trust that would only unlock in 2020, and we have started seeing a bunch of movements of exactly 10000 coins this year

You always start with sending 0.000005 BTC first when you move more than a few hundred bucks

>> No.25198172

Probably Sergey Nazarov moving that to sell. Cover SEC charges before they hit the fan, into the general treasury deposit. And LINK wont get investigated for securites. Coinbase tryna get listed on nyse? How about they help facilitate a trade of many btc to themselves. And look other way to Chainlink
