it really is the small things like this that make trades not worth it

also take into account that you're dealing with mostly lower class and lower middle class folks and it makes it harder to socially climb when you're a plumber who gets sprayed by septic tanks all day

idk man, i work as embedded systems engineer without university/college but in a year i'll go to university for a cs degree.

i'll go for it, after having been in the semiconductor industry for 3 years, and i see that college graduates have a broader horizon when it comes to theoretic subjects and math, and i want to improve in that, also i want to open new opportunities since some companies see degrees as mandatory.

Although it's stupid to burden 18yo's with 100k of debt, and most of them don't even know what kinds of jobs they get when they're finished.
