25084155 No.25084155 [Reply] [Original]

If you actually understand what a security is, the idea that XRP is a security is literally laughable. If XRP isn't a currency, neither is Bitcoin or any other crypto.

The SEC chairman is a corrupt faggot who's RESIGNING at the end of the year despite his term being until June 2021.

Normies being unsure about whether or not crypto is fully legal or "legit" is the last major barrier. When XRP wins this lawsuit, it will legitimize the currency in a concrete way. The sky is the limit after that. XRP is the spearhead that will piece the USD status quo.

Couldn't be more whitepilled.

The lawsuit victory will be a major news event you retards. Either you don't understand crypto and think XRP will get declared a security (lol), or you think XRP is due for the moon of a lifetime. There's no in-between, lawsuit rulings are binary.

Not BTC and ETH being considered securities since they're confirmed not to be. The case is mostly about ripple's behaviour in relation to XRP, not the technology behind it.

holy brainlets, none of them are securities.
but this >>25084682 is the problem.
The SEC is pissed because Ripple Labs, a for profit company, is selling them to finance their operations for years, and not being clear about that to normies. this is also why no one with a functional brain wants to buy XRP and donate to Ripple Lab's treasury with no benefit in return.
But OP is right, if somehow they get out of this or only get a wrist slap, XRP will skyrocket, seems unlikely though.

And the thing is every time they emit new coins/stock they safeguard and get like 30% for their upper management (CEO, CFO and the likes)
Given that their network isnt even profitable and is subsized (which unfortunately is a regular in startup related businesses, see uber) its clear Ripple has only been using their status as non-security due to blockchain status to get away with weird and non legal things.
It will most likely burn and it will be glorious

Given that you have to use your ETH to operate a staker, I'm pretty sure it's fine (Howey test explicitly mentions that third parties). I have BTC bags too and am not overinvested in ETH though, so bring it.

I don't understand why xrp shills are touting an easy win because the sec will resign during a new term. Do you people honestly believe that he personally wrote this document in November when trump lost? Do you honestly believe when the sec/irs sends you a letter they just want you to explain your side of the story and let there be no hard feelings?
