I use crypto. I buy things with crypto. I use a crypto thats convenient and cheap.

I know about crypto, Ive been here for years now, Ive picked up a lot of information. Lightning Network is dangerous, funds can be lost, its confusing, its dumb. Its not going to fix the problem which is that BTC does 7 TPS. Your shitcoin is going to zero.

All those ATMs, literally every Bitcoin ATM - has Litecoin. Some have BCH, some have Eth or DASH even.. but they *all* have Litecoin, save maybe 1%. When your shitcoin cant process the transactions, everyones switching to Litecoin. What was 5 billion to Bitcoins 100 billion will go to 100 billion, and then it will 100x. Youre going to kill yourself, but at least you will make 2-3x gains on BTCs current price before that happens. Lightning network he says, HA. Funny shit.

Pic unrelated.

I get what you are saying but everything follows bitcoin. The only reason litecoin has been pumping is because its the cheaper option to btc.

I agree that btc dominance is dumb but that's the way people are.

>The only reason litecoin has been pumping
That statements already braindead wrong on its face and youre investing emotionally. Its better, thats why its going up. Its not only better, its the best better one. Its the coin in position to flip BTC. Eth isnt even a currency coin, Cripple is a security and were not buying stocks, banker coin, regulation coin, never going to be used by everyday people. BCH, LTC, DASH. Those are the real future potential #1s. You should look up how pyramid schemes fail, Bitcoin to a million is beyond a joke. Its just sad. You make me sad, I pity you.

Enjoy making literally thousands of dollars.

I'm invested in litecoin and cash but not in btc so cool the hostility.

I'd agree with you that btc dominance is dominance is dumb so far bitcoin has been the leader. When btc crashes everything else crashes and that's a long term behavior of the crypto market.

As for payments that's good but a stable coin is better used for payments.

What happens when BTC doesnt crash, it merely gets outpaced and replaced - DURING a rally. Thats not guaranteed but its easily a potential. BTC is not surviving the next rally, it might survive this one, its not surviving 20k bottom 200k top and shooting for a million. Thats when it becomes painfully obvious to all the normie holders OH WAIT IT CAN ONLY DO 7 TRANSACTIONS A SECOND

>> No.25075336

>>25075281
Youre thinking about this wrong. You need to start thinking in terms of "I dont think 7 transactions per second is enough for a billion people let alone 100 million.. what does more, and shares first to market advantage - oh wait, that coin in literally all the ATMs with Bitcoin."

Thats Litecoin.

>> No.25075363

The only way btc gets flipped is if 1) a less speculative coin is created and rises, 2) Ethereum finally puts a hard cap on its supply, 3) btc is somehow 51% attacked successfully

>> No.25075374

Like you guys know BCH was only created *because* professional people recognized BTC had a problem and the "solutions" being proposed were bandaids doomed to fail *cough lightning cough*. BCH does 60, LTC 56. LTC has more first to market advantage, and soon privacy. This makes LTC #1.

...and again, this could all happen during a rally. Its most likely to occur during a rally, when BTC has all time high usage, when its the most bogged down its ever been... itl come on instantly, suddenly everyone will be talking about how BTC doesnt work. Thats when they will say not "Im getting out of crypto, dump dump!" but "Whats better?"

The better goes up, BTC stagnates and declines. Its value is transferred to an alt, rapidly. Chances are its like a dam bursting, everyone rushes into other things - not dollars.

>> No.25075478

Most are here because of speculation unfortunately and its really sad because that's not btc was designed for.

While I agree that fundamentals are the most important I don't think that's what people are really interested in. It's disgusting that people are willing to spend $23000 on a coin when the same coin costs a little over $300.

My only hope is that USDT breaks Bitcoin dominance and that people put their money there during bearish times instead of in an overpriced bitcoin.

the white diagonal has held as support for 3 years and right now price is curling upward as the downtrend its currently in is slowing in momentum.

the RSI purple line shows a higher low when the corresponding LTC/BTC price had a lower low, which also verifies this momentum change and tends to signal that reversal (to the upside in this case) is soon. given that this setup is on a high time frame chart, you should expect the pump to be pretty significant.

theres also fairly good fundamental news lately confluent with the technical analysis looking positive. a 2x seems to be the minimum this could go, so I wouldn't be shocked to see higher

>Youre thinking about this wrong. You need to start thinking in terms of "I dont think 7 transactions per second is enough for a billion people let alone 100 million..
Bitcoin has spoiled you to the point you are splitting hairs about transaction times after BTC made them exponentially faster. And if your line of thinking succeeded, which it will not, then LTC would be next on the chopping block. Yeah I get it, you are here for the tech but you don't understand that money doesn't evolve at the same rate tech does.
Lightning and other layer 2 options are well under development. Your altcoin maximalist FUD of them from "years of lurking /biz/ is complete fucking bullshit.
Secondly when people are making a large transaction they will know in advance and sell BTC for a transactional coin or a stablecoin. Maybe this will be LTC sometimes, most likely not given the sheer crowdedness of the space.

>what does more, and shares first to market advantage - oh wait, that coin in literally all the ATMs with Bitcoin."
Those ATMs have usurious fees and no one in the first world uses them because it is kyc and insane fees.

I bought ltc late bc I'm a novice and it was the cheaper alternative to BTC and ETH. I bought it b/w 50-60 USD and have been holding. that should tell you something, I have nothing to do with the crypto community and it's what I bought, and I'm probably a good representative of the social media/twitter guys that are going to dogpile on at some point that don't know what they are talking about. My question is how long do you think this will take? It already reached a high pretty recently, how long will it hold that? I'm normally in stocks and I can hold for years if I need to but I'd rather just buy stock with that since crypto like to dive and stay down at random hours.

I think XMR solves the single biggest problem that crypto can solve, but something is necessary for things that don't have to be that private. XMR is confusing to use for normies too.

Dash, BCH and LTC are all fine regular, usable non memecoins. Immigrants use all three to send remittances without getting screwed with money order fees. Dash is my favorite, but I have never seen an ATM without LTC.
