Bid on what? Just a stock? MMs are tricky tricky, sometimes it seems like they'll put up a big buy/sell wall they'll autocancel, but it still lets people know what they don't wanna let happen. Is it from a large MM like ARCA or citadel?
If it's a big puddle of open interest on the options chain it's generally not being spooky, like I'm lookin at PLTR right nao and it's gonna b hard for them 2 break 30 this week, 2 many callies

Wind Energy investment is strong. Companies are building larger and more efficient turbines and the technology for floating turbines that don't need to be locked onto the seabed has been realised. It means they can tow them out further to sea to areas which have better and more consistent wind patterns and are cheaper to construct overall.

Any fellow Eurofags here who can tell me if eToro is a good option for buying/holding/selling regular stocks? I don't want CFDs, Options, or any of that. I've been using Flatex so far but I'm tired of paying 10-20$ every time I buy/sell something, with US stocks being especially expensive.
eToro cliams they have no commissions for buying/selling regular stocks and I'm pretty sure that's either a straight up lie or I'm getting fucked bigly in some way I haven't figured out yet (Euros always get fucked) - I read the terms&conditions but haven't found the Jewish tricks yet.

What I mean is if stocks were a random walk then over time they would all follow the same path at the same slope. See, that's the thing. If most of the market is using it then where does the money come from? And if the money comes from the people NOT using TA, then how is it a self fulfilling prophesy? If anything the other people using TA are in a race with you to take advantage of the unfair prices created by people not using TA (thus correcting them back to the fair value). Fair value being what yields you average risk adjusted returns across all markets. I guarantee you I put a lot more thought into this than you did. Look into the efficient market hypothesis.
>you can't ignore TA because most of the market follows it and it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.
>Going under MA200 hourly seems to be the accumulation zone for institutions with GME for example, makes it look like it's always bouncing off MA50 on daily too
Cherrypicked after the fact example. You would've made money buying with or without TA. Go buy a given amount of shares of every ticker that's under the 200 MA in a paper trading account and see how it performs going forward. It may give you slightly over the market returns, but not by much.

If indicators worked then it would be easy to code a bot based in indicators that would outperform the market with risk adjusted returns (judged by stuff like total drawdown and sharpe ratio). I think it's possible, but it's not trivial and will involve more than just booting up an RSI and moving average and optimizing the settings based on past data.
Patterns are IMO more likely to work but still subtle pattern recognition and not something that could be done mechanically based on simple rules. And also I think many times patterns only work on certain markets based on the psychological kinks of the people and bots trading in that market that aren't present on other markets.
