There is regulatory clarity coming. Most companies can't use XRP and the XRPL without it being clear whether XRP is deemed a security or not by the SEC. That's actually pretty smart. The ironic thing about XRP not being clear whether it's a security or not seems to be because there's not an overwhelming amount of use cases yet, but there arent any use cases because it's not clear if it's a security or currency. One thing that does seem to be an issue though is that they are in sole control of all issuing of the new crypto. Are there any other coins that function this way?
