i’m a 30 year oldcomputer programmer. i work in indiana but lived in new york. i make 100k per year but hated indiana so much and became a drug addict to cocaine from the dark web before checking into rehab. i’m considering to go back to school to study something else but my savings are in the graph and also with the new covid mutation i don’t know how hard it will be to find a part time gig and study as a nurse while shadowing hospitals.

fuck my life man. my boss knows im a drug addict and i’m also pretty terrible at my job so i was surprised i didn’t get fired. i forgot everything i learned on the job and also from school since i was focusing on sobering up the past 2 months.

if i have to move back to indiana i fear a relapse and i fear isolating remote working...

I had been a developer working in corporate myself and I know how much of a limbo situation you're in, it fucking sucks.
