There's lots of totally viable businesses that are all but obliterated and not allowed to function anymore. You aren't even allowed to sell things that the government doesn't seem "essential" here.

Hair dressers, bookstores, pawn shops, jewellery stores, appliance stores, repair shops, basically anything to do with art or culture, etc are all forced to close their doors, but also have to keep paying the banks or they'll lose everything (if they own the building, if not then the person who's collecting their rent faces the same risks). People are getting arrested here playing hockey on rivers/ponds basically by themselves. If you cut people's hair for a living, it's kind of hard to just "take your business online"

The fact you're defending this is disgusting and shows how successful the reprogramming efforts have been
