download the modified bitcoin core and the combfullui client file

sync bitcoin as you normally would. this might take some days. if you're worried about the legitimacy of the haircomb software, compile it yourself and run on a VM

then when the blockchain is fully downloaded:

1. run combfullui
2. navigate to http://127.0.0.1:2121
3. click wallet
4. click generate key
5. go to main page, fully save your wallet, enter file name, it will be created with suffix .dat
6. go back to wallet notice mine address near your key.
7. tip small amount of bitcoin to your mine address
8. if you are lucky, free COMB will be generated
