Ripple was designed to replace the world's reserve currency. It had this in its mind even in the name. X being that it does not come from any country, RP being Ripple.

Here's how the whole thing works, note this is not explained very well, people explain how Fiat is worthless paper, people explain how bankers use fractional reserve banking to make bank, but they don't understand how the whole thing actually works.

You see, it's about ILLUSIONS, it's the only thing that exists in this world. In Neuroscience, you could explain this as "facilitations" for an illusion, the more facilitations there are, the more you believe what you experience to be the truth.
For example, if you wear a rolex, but you dress like a BUM, then people will not believe that rolex is real. But if you drive a porsche, and dress well, of course people are going to think it's real almost automatically, it's because everything else works in line to bring about the experienced reality.

Fiat is the same fucking thing. It is paper, based on a quasi-ponzi scheme that is "debt", but because it is facilitated by its acceptance in institutions, it is accepted as a way to pay taxes, companies accept it to raise capital in stock markets, and when it comes to the dollar it's needed to purchase oil and trade/foreign exchange.
In particular, stock markets in just about any country, even though they used to be considered "Gambling" and regulated as such, they no longer are and are welcomed in virtually everywhere because they are a way to further legitimatize a country's fiat.
So you can tell a lie, but make enough connections to this lie and it becomes the TRUTH. It's how your neurons work, it's the baseline of reality.

As a result of making the dollar a "baseline" of the economy, as virtually anywhere you go where you hold high amounts of it you are rich, because it is demanded everywhere in every currency, because everybody needs to trade, and everybody needs oil, you create a fundamental connection between the world's economy and the stability of the united states.

This is not desirable in any possible way...as I've explained in previous posts, social media was set to cause huge amounts of unrest in 2011-2012, but was thwarted by forces seeking to direct the chaos somewhere, hence the movement of occupy was subverted to SJW crap in order to maintain US stability.

But the election of Trump showed how imperative it was to decopple the world's economy to said stability. The dollar is currently backed by the promise that its citizens will pay the interest on the debt, and the very fact the world's economy is backed by the dollar makes it unthinkable for the government to ever default, which would happen if the people were to rise up against its government. Sure feds go on /pol/ saying "you won't do shit nigger", but they all crap their pants at the possibility. There's no drone strike, there's no US military, the moment there's a consensus of illegitimacy in government that the people would rise to the task, the US will have to borrow much more than revenue/GDP, which will make the chance of default higher, increasing interest rates, and eventually making the interest higher than revenue and the US defaults, and the whole world's economy crumbles.

How is that a desirable thing at all? Anyone thinking what they just want to solve is "cross border payments" is retarded. Paypal can't solve this issue, no other currency can.

XRP can. Not bitcoin, not ethereum, nothing else. XRP was designed for this with all of this in mind.
