Anons, I just came up with an amazing idea, how can I profit off of this?

One problem with working from home is that you don’t really have the ability to get up and walk over to someone and ask them a question really quick, or to pass by a conversation and listen in so and chime in with your own ideas.

I realize you can solve this with a virtual reality office. Everyone would still be working from home, but instead of renting out a physical space and office supplies and bathrooms and all the shit that comes along with it, companies could simply supply all of their office workers with a VR headset. Once on, you would be “teleported” to a virtual office space where you would have a digital body sitting at a desk. You could then be supplied with a very simple ASDF type controller to make your digital body move through the office, which would allow you to approach coworkers and speak to them just like you would in an office. The contents of your home screen could be displayed on a virtual screen in the virtual in the virtual office so managers could still do routine checks and see what everyone is working on, stopping by each workstation to chat.

This could also be compatible manufacturing companies, as there could be “VR kiosks” spread throughout the manufacturing floor that in person employees could find a VR headset to “check in” to the digital office to ask questions.

Thoughts?

Anon this is why we have phones, if you have a quick question, just call them on the phone and ask. If they're screening your calls shoot them an email and your boss an email saying that so and so is ignoring your calls and it's hampering your productivity.

But in reality it simply doesn’t work like this, we’ve all been working from home to know there is some aspect of the physical office that is missing just by communicating through voice calls

You wouldn’t actually move in real life, you’d use a simple controller to make your digital body move

Problem is data security. You don't want the same people who glitch Mr Crabs Overdoses on Ketamine anywhere near your little VR whiteboards with company stuff written on it.
