sup /biz/bros

I have devised a plan to rent out a classroom at a local library & do "how to buy bitcoin 101" classes

i will charge $50 for max 30 students per class. classes up to 3 hrs. I would teach them about the basics then have them sign up for coinbase and make their first small purchase if they want, while I go around helping ppl with questions.

my questions, I havent used coinbase in a while. Would my students be able to sign up and buy bitcoin within the 3 hr time period or does kyc take longer? I made my cuckbase account years ago and i remember it taking weeks to get verified.

Also i'm thinking of writing up a legal waiver they have to sign stating the class is purely educational and I am not responsible for their trading. Anyone know where I can find one prewritten or should I go have a lawyer draft one up.

if I can fill up just 3 classes a week I can make fucking bank doing this. thx

who is your market? do you really think you could hold 3 classes of 30 students a week? for multiple weeks? you're severely overestimating the people who would want this. guaranteed.

if someone is tech savvy enough to know of bitcoin and they want to buy it don't you think they would have the skillset to research how to do it on their own? and if people don't know of bitcoin they're not going to spend $50 on a class

boomers, I live in southwest florida & they dont have their grandchildren around to help them with tech shit

i would market it as "find out if bitcoin is right for you"

everything here is word of mouth so i can see me getting the first class done & from there I will run mostly off karens talking about it to their friends

I think you should redpill them on the crypto space in general rather than just a 3HOURS tutorial on how to buy BTC (wtf?). Buying BTC on Coinbase is as easy as buying a dragon dildo on Amazon (very easy).
How to avoid scams, having your own private wallet rather than keeping your crypto online etc.
If I'd go to your class and just see that the only thing I had to do was literally click "BUY" I'd be pissed

oh yeah the buying part would be towards the end, thats why i was curious how long it takes on cuckbase to get the first purchase in

but yeah I would redpill them about bitcoin, eth, & the general alt space. different types of storage, risks, privacy and how to avoid scams. why blockchain is going to take over many aspects of their lives etc.

i was thinking the teaching part would be 1hr then the next 2 hrs is for questions & getting cuckbase rolling

i could even do an advanced class to explain alts and dex's etc.

You're honestly better of with a webinar, you aren't restricted by class size/location then, and there's a lot of hesitance towards in person meetings now because of covid. And ya you can start buying crypto right away with coinbase. I'm Canadian and use it for fiat onramp since it's super easy and doesnt have any issues with Canadian banks (my card gets declined randomly lots for online purchases).

There's lots of courses who teach base level information that charge hundreds or thousands of dollars, so I think your pricing is pretty good, even if it is basic information.

You wouldn't last a week in a tech support job.

Judging your user by how they phrase a question and how many fingers they type with then immediately providing them a taylored response streamlined for their ability and mental capacity while also appealing to them socially without losing patience or wasting time...

Put in a few 1000 hours in tech support...

Buy yeah, $50 x 30 then 2 classes a day... Easy $3k a day for you there anon... Move around your local area... $15k a week... That's $60k a month... Easy $750k income there.

All from having the skills of being a $12hr tech support employee.

Actually a good idea. I should do this too. You can tell it's a good idea just based off the negative reactions here. So anyway I'll actually answer your question: you won't be able to walk them through a Coinbase purchase because the bank verification step takes like three to five business days, and knowing Coinbase, it will be five business days. You could still have them step up there accounts, though. And even have Nano Ledgers on the side for an extra $50. Hell, throw in the Ledgers for free with the price of the class. Just make sure you've already set them up and saved their private keys for when they start making cold storage deposits.

I actually thought about selling ledgers at the class but i figured giving them my rejerral linke would be the best option so they can order it themselves

I can also make a seperate advanced class for cold storage, alts, dex's metamask etc.

You are onto an actual good and not scammy biz idea. The kyc for all exchanges is hit of miss on speed. Coinbase I think still has a fine print on their sign up that it could take up to 24 hours or something for kyc, even if is usually with minutes or hours for most people. They cover their ass and you should too by not making any guarantees.

This population is already a target for scams and you will draw suspicion even if your motives are pure. By extension, you also open yourself up to blame if anything goes wrong. If I have learned anything, boomers are very quick to sue over lost money, no matter whose ultimate "fault" it is.

I personally don't see the profit in messing with this population and their finances in any form at all. Clueless retards who take everything personally and would sue a foul odor in the air if they could
