The fun part is all the effort and work that goes into it. It’s not like you just go to the bear farm, where they parade around bears in front of you, and you just pick one like you’re going grocery shopping and pull the trigger. At least not usually. Usually you’re out there in the cold hiking around at 5 am finding a spot, trying to lure one in, and you’re out there all day potentially or else you’re out there months in advance building up a portfolio, pumping candles, looking for signs, finding shorts, smugness, etc , building a beartrap. When you do kill one, it’s way more humane then farming. You kill a mature bear that’s had a full life in the market and ideally, you kill them relatively slowly and painfully.
