that 1 year gain looks good but if you look back, 1 year ago monero had it's worst 2 weeks since the summer of 2017 (not counting march since we didn't deviate from the market), so of course if we compare it to that the gains look good. If we compare it to anything before/after that december crash, we're way below average in the top 15.

If you look at percentage from all time high, Monero has performed well compared to most other cryptocurrencies. Monero isn't a dead community, and has legitimate, growing adoption. All signs point to the most obvious long in crypto and you are concerned about short term movements like a basic bitch.

except it is, because you moonboys don't understand the concept of zooming out and long term investment. We are exiting the accumulation phase of Monero. In 5 years Monero will be worth far more than it is today. But because you only care about number go up, you will miss out on the gains a smart investor would have made, and fomo back in. Monero isn't going to go away. Crypto has zero privacy right now and Monero is the only community that cares about it.
