The summary of the fundamentals is the following
Dollar is the world reserve currency by demand of ODL from swift for trading, oil, powering derivatives, etc.
The dollar, printed by the Fed., is backed by the demand of these factors, AND demand from bond holders
Because the US is a stable gov., the citizens will always pay tax, which means they always pay the interest on the debt on the budget
This makes US bonds guaranteed returns, and since they're used for literally everything, the US can easily raise cash to pay bills.

The problem is that, if US citizens one day rise up and do an armed revolt, the dollar would probably crash as it no longer holds value for bond holders, and the US cannot borrow from the Fed forever and it would eventually crash(US can borrow from bond holders, who the US pays at maturity date and FED which they can pay "later", which is what makes returns guaranteed).
But again, this makes the whole world's reserve currency tied to the stability of a country, that's not desirable
It also makes the US have a huge amount of leverage against other countries, which, in the eyes of the people who seek more global governance, it's not interesting to give one set of citizens more power than others. It also means you cannot enact changes in the world without the support of the US middle class, which is not desirable in anyway. The US middle class has just too much power, they can crash the world's most important currency at any moment which is why, before Trump, US politics was divided into stupid shit like abortion or whatever, it's strategic, meant to represent stability, it's why some people would say it's only the illusion of choice.

So we want to decopple the reserve currency from the stability of any one currency.

We need a currency that has demand for, that can be implemented as soon as possible, that is KYC/AML/CTF approved, that is compatible with smart contracts and decentralized Finance.

XLM and XRP are the best positioned currencies for this right now, it is compliance friendly, if you want to make such daunting task, but XRP can do much more than cross borders, as some have said...

It can power derivatives trading, it has demand from interbanking entities, so when banks between argentina and the such communicate, they settle instantly through XRP. There is demand for XRP from where there would be no demand for the dollar.

Now you add decentralized Finance, which is meant to reach people who are not connected to finance just yet. There are businesses everywhere in the world who could use financial services, but because of the "lag and lash" of fiat, it's not interesting to provide these services for them.
So, people say "muh market cap", but there's no idea as to how much money there really is in the world since there are so many folks that are not connected to the global economy.
In the vision of "inclusive capitalism" initiative, you want to include as many people as you can into the system, and make their loans and trades settle instantly.
For this vision to come true, in a way that is compliant with the Wolfsberg Principles of AML, there's no coin but XML and XRP.
