Crypto wallets need a private key, think a password, but it's a massive number. If the wallet is hosted on an exchange, you do not own that crypto wallet. So, if Robinhood gets hacked, you're fucked.

If you read the warning before jumping into crypto, Robinhood tells you that crypto is unregulated and not insured.

If you trust Robinhood not to get hacked, then go ahead. If not, then do your own research on cold wallets.
