>won the lottery 3 years ago for 4million (2.5mil after tax
>after living a life and buying everyone good presents i still have 2 mil
>just live in modest apartment right now enjoying xbox and ps5 on my 77" OLED TV (LG GX)

I am feeling a little bit depressed. I did the wild life for a while but now i just feel like im exactly who i was when i graduated college. Just a kid playing videogames in his dorm.

I dont even think i can even get a job now because ive been out of employment so long, or atleast not a job worth getting and not some grocery store clerk

Any advice on how to give my life meaning through money?

How do you like the GX? I just got a cx55 for a monitor and was looking at the GX for the wall in the living room. Fucking things are spooky setting up. Thin is cool but too thin is fragile.

Anyway, congrats on winning. It's a curse if you make it so. You like electronics so why not get a job as an electrician and specialize in low voltage too. You could build a business in a few years that would not only enrich your bank account and crypto, it would enrich your life and give you a purpose.

Its not so thin as you think anon. It is very very sturdy and heavy, its like built like a massive iphone. It feels very solid like one giant piece of metal and glass.

I dont know about being an electrician anon. I am more into the arts and whatnot.

Definitely this, dude. Before doing anything stupid, I implore you to search yourself with psychedelics and try to get to the root of why you're not happy with your life. You're the source of your own suffering, so nobody here will be able to tell you why you're feeling the way you feel. Explore yourself. I wish you the best of luck.

Depends how old you are, but I'd try to find out what it is you want to do. Think about a career you always wanted to pursue and go get a second cheapo degree or master's from a state school and leverage that into a job. Or if you don't want to work for another person ever again just find something to freelance and basically start your own business. You will feel better once you feel that you have a purpose, even if that purpose is repairing AC. As long as its something you're genuinely interested in. Also that way when you start a family it'll be easier to be a role model for your kids because you wont just be some guy who won a bunch of money, you'll have a job and contribute to society.

Hey, it’s understandable that things get really hard when all your wildest dreams come true, what comes next? We as humans thrive on challenge. Luckily for you money can’t buy everything. Money can buy you a nice guitar and guitar lessons but it won’t make you good at playing the guitar. That’s where you need to come in and put time, effort and will.

Find something that challenges you and that you want to do, and then go for it! Usually the things that cost the least are the most rewarding to master.

If you want to just talk or shitchat lmk. I’d be happy to help :)

2 mil invested with decent yields should net you 80k a year which is better than most people's salaries. If you do wage it'd just be for your pride. I've always wanted to be a gas station clerk but unironically you can do anything if you live within your means and keep reinvesting. You sound too low IQ to start your own business no offense so just enjoy the gift you have been given.

And?

Get some friends that don't know you've got 2million and see how they have fun with $600 in their checking accounts. Then just do the better version of that.

Buy into something you believe in and ride those waves. Plus charity if you don't mind people with retard, make work, degrees taking a cut.

Take some philosophy classes centered around how to be nihilistic and not blow your brains out.

Get a STEM degree.

Become an artist.

Collect something.

Find your inner child, should be easy if you've stagnated as a teenager.

OP, here are some options:

>become fitness obsessed, get fit as fuck
>get into life extension and supplements
>get into memory palaces and anki, develop strong memory techniques and get good at memorizing things
>get into reading
>start meditating
>travel
>do dmt
>learn an instrument
>build a modular synth
>volunteer at soup kitchens, community gardens, etc...
>get into gardening
>learn a programming language/build an app or game. doesnt have to be a useful or marketable app since youre already rich. you can make something expressive.
>get into woodworking
>start taking vitamin D3 and Ashwaganda every day to help you stay happy and motivated
>find local gaming groups or other hobbyist groups near you
>search coursera, udemy, etc... for something that looks interesting and sign up for a course

I would say start by getting fit, taking D3/ash, and meditating, then add more things after youve been doing that for a few weeks.

First thing I would do with money like that, is buy an apartment with a nice view in a sunny city and spend half the year there when it's cold as fuck here.
Alternatively, buy a cheap, somewhat remote villa in Portugal or Italy. Swimming pool, home gym, library. And become a luxurious hermit, lifting, reading and swimming until the end of time.

but for real, check out being a high end car salesman or realtor
if you’re not good with people, learn the skills and try it out
there’s good money to be made but since you already have 2million dollars why don’t you just relax and set a goal of making a good commission
