Silver ATH was $ 50 year 2011, now Silver is $ 25, so Silver should be near $ 50 too

Silver is pretty much crap desu, atleast with gold theres a history of a consistent (albiet slow) rise in dollar price, and it basically holds it value, I have about 100 oz of silver, partially because /pmg/ duped me into buying it, but also just as a way to diversify in case those schizos are right, if silver does go anywhere near $50 I'm selling all mine and buying gold or putting it into another investment

Gold has been money just as long if not longer, and while gold is still money, silver is an industrial commodity at this point, there are still bullion investors because of its history but as the years go on most of silver's value is going to be derived from the fact that its useful in industry. Don't get me wrong, holding silver is better than holding fiat right now, but gold is better than silver in pretty much every way. Silver is also way more speculative, which keeps it from truly being money as well. I'm not saying everyone should own no silver, but I see people who stack silver and gold at anything more than a 100:1 ratio as foolish, my goal right now is to stack at a 40:1 ratio

Silver is monetary metal, and its also industrial metal, and new green tech like solar panels etc. needs Silver
