Do you need some programming knowledge or something to do this? 32eth is not much for me so i don't mind the "risk" but can an average dude do this or you need some 1337 knowledge?

you need some 1337 knowledge so just wait until coinbase offers staking which will be soon and use that and it will be easy

>hey guys, I'm going to jump thru all sorts of hoops and keep a validator up 24x7 lest get all my money taken and in the end I can earn 5.5%
slightly nogger iq, don't you think?

If you need to ask this question here you aren't competent enough to run your own node. There are many people who deposited their ETH and didn't start a node up and are now losing money having their stake slashed

u could train an ape to do that

>> No.24864061

just wondering if an average dude can do it, chillax

You got a rig setup for the staking?

Why are you guys so fucking dumb? Did you know ETH has a website that spoon feeds you all the info and tools you need? It’s not hard anon but you’re so dumb you’ll probably miss type the contract address and end up burning your ETH.

I don't even know what average intelligence means anymore. The average normie is too dumb to operate Bitcoin. How should I know if you can operate an Ethereum node? It's not hard, you can read everything up, but "hard" is a relative term

yes an avg dude can do it, but its borderline dumb to do. lots of risk for less reward than a good municipal bond.

You commit it and thats it. Im not sure though, if it's over complicated just sell it all for Cardano and stake Cardano. For Cardano you delegate to a pool but it stays in your wallet pretty simple. I have 100k and I've made $400 in 4 months just holding.

>> No.24864733

>>24864665
Why would anyone do it then? Sounds sketchy.

>> No.24864750

Should swap to fantom and delegate instead

How does $40k sound?

OP, you can simply use a staking service, you pay them 0.1 ETH for the year and they will handle everything. Try https://stake.fish, it's what I used.
