If you need to ask this question here you aren't competent enough to run your own node. There are many people who deposited their ETH and didn't start a node up and are now losing money having their stake slashed

You commit it and thats it. Im not sure though, if it's over complicated just sell it all for Cardano and stake Cardano. For Cardano you delegate to a pool but it stays in your wallet pretty simple. I have 100k and I've made $400 in 4 months just holding.

OP, you can simply use a staking service, you pay them 0.1 ETH for the year and they will handle everything. Try https://stake.fish, it's what I used.
