BAT has been bouncing off of 8000 all night and is set to spike again soon. why do you keep missing the dips?

>> No.2486382

Perfect the to buy is right now. Founder just released a list of companies that signed up to use BAT in their slack channel. Should buy before this gets out more.

there's a 300k buy order on 8000. ask me: why would the whales be stocking up at current price if it was going to crash?

follow the whales. make some motherfucking money.

protip: they put the wall up which makes regular people try to "sneak" their orders in in front of the wall, thinking they got a deal. in general if you watch order books closely you'll see actual trades only happen within a certain zone, most orders get cancelled and moved around a lot. and you don't need to coin you're buying to put up a buy wall. so the whale off loads their bags to people putting in their orders slightly in front of their own wall, then they pull the wall and the price now can go down in free fall.

>> No.2486603

>>2486525

I get what you're saying and have seen it happen, but these walls have actually been selling, there's two of them and they've shrank dramatically each time BAT's hit 8000

>> No.2486623

>>2486470
no, what he is trying to say that a buy WALL prevents the market from moving, and as such, it IS bad for BAT.

BAT has been in a downward trend since it's been released, you're all in an echo-chamber thinking "BAT is gonna moon soon guys!!!!" Just accept your losses and stop shilling this dead coin already.

There were two big pumps a couple days ago that massively inflated the market price. Now the value is trying to fall back down to the normal ~6800 sats, but it keeps bouncing off the 8k sats buy wall (which was probably the reason for the pumps).

We all got memed. Sell off now before you regret it.

The simple fact is that end users aren't going to opt in to watch ads in exchange for fractions of a penny worth of a cryptocurrency that they don't even understand how to use. They should've left end users out of the equation entirely and focused on making it a normal advertising platform that operates on BAT and cuts out the middleman entirely (typically Google).

Then they wouldn't need to worry about a special browser or plugins or any other shit that nobody is going to install. Fuck, the browser is probably just a reskinned Chromium or Firefox fork to start with. If the head of this project is the "inventor of JavaScript" or whatever, why the fuck doesn't he just write a script that tracks participants using cookies and delivers ads without requiring extra software? That's easily doable, it's basically what Google's ad platform does already, they just use it to generate targeted ads instead.

They're talking about the ability to cash out to FIAT. Remember blockchain tech is new, by the time this actually gets out for mass user adoption, the crypto bullshit will be obfuscated.

The point of this isn't the browser, it's the principle of INCENTIVISING advertisement engagement. Paying people to be involved in ads, people DO do stupid shit for micro-amounts of currency already.

Ad giants are struggling at the moment due to the prevalence of ad-block, and people just generally getting sick of ads, so they're resorting to tracking, data theft, monitoring, targeting (even to the point they craft PERSONAL ads now). That's a whole fucktonne of money and effort that can be put aside by just incentivising people to get involved instead.

People expect too much from crypto tech in the short term. Focus on what WILL be possible a few years down the line.

Back in the early days of the Internet when you had to physically switch a cable, and have the connection cut off whenever the fucking phone rang, people would have been sat saying "Who will use it when it's this much effort?" too. Bit different today isn't it. I imagine it will be the same for BAT in future.
