You're a moron. Joining a frat is the equivalent of joining a corporation in the small world that is your college campus. Frats are organizations that are Ran by "Executive" boards. There is a formal corporate structure to them, bylaws that have to be followed, and inflows and outflows of money. Every party that you go to is planned before hand, when you're charged for going to the party (if they do charge you) that's factored in to the fraternities profit.. There are org structures and seniority rules that must be followed
There are punishments for not following corporate fraternity rules (such as fines, hazing and other punishments), things you'd typically see behind closed doors inside of big corps that you as a normal wagie wouldnt know about. Fraternities literally prepare you for the real business world. Fraternities are business lite training for the first 4 years.

Joining a frat at a party school (which I did) is the most chad thing you can do. You are literally a king on the campus and you have access to the best women on campus by virtue of the signal alone.

Submitted to early but everyone thinks fraternities are just "partying only" Which is far from the truth. They are ran like businesses / organizations. They take alot of fucking work to maintain. I can't tell you how many times I had to wake up at 6am to go do volunteer work (such as planting trees) in order to improve our fraternities ranking on campus, which gave us access to more incentives like grants / scholarship money.
