TC ~170k inclusive of everything. Bonus 20% over target. I had switched from another tech company. Hopped as soon as I vested my RSUs

Honestly happy with little to no raise, as I put in very little effort, but I'd expect to get one of some form. ESPP cash comes in end of month. RSUs vest in Q2 2021.

Crypto portfolio was ~220 ETH at an average of $220, so also killed it there this year

Started at a startup on minimum wage for a trial. Worked my ass off. Argued like fuck with the boss most weeks as he broke promises to improve my wage should I prove myself. Doubled my salary on month 3. Doubled it again on month 6 retroactive from month 3. Months 6 - 18 were steady, we lost a lot of staff and I absorbed all the roles and work. Month 18 was another 4k per year until year 3 when it went up another 4k. I've been production director the last year and covid has trashed the industry. Shame, but I'm still getting paid.

Realistically for my industry I'd need to gain some expensive additional qualifications to have the chance at a comparable role within a bigger/more corporate company. Not just 3 years post graduate, but also 2 more at masters level afterwards placement for is only obtainable via sponsorship by 2 peers within the industry. The chance at a role too, I'd be competing against some extremely experienced people from all over the world.

At the moment I get to play at doing everything the role entails on 40% of the salary that a large company would offer with a team of 15. I enjoy my job a lot and pre covid the potential upside was 10x within the next 5 years which would have put me on 80% of the salary.
